Default Rectification of Blessings (Upkeep Enchantments)

Im not wholly sure about this since I've never been much of a fan of upkeep enchantments. But considering enchant removals, it seems enchantment are not to useful in pvp (and lately in pve). Most of these upkeep enchantments cost 10 energy and take two seconds to cast. Furthermore Blessed Signet requires also two seconds to cast and this is considered the energy fuel for enchants (relying on Essence Bond or Life Bond Balthazar Spirit is unhealthy).

So my question is: Why aren't upkeep enchantments more like Divine Boon except with a 1 second cast and around 5 energy? Is there any inconvenience with this? I cant be certain Im not an enchant heavy monk but Ive noticed in pvp they arent really worth it and not much use in pve. This is a sad case because there a lot of useful maintained enchantments (and some horrendous ones like Protective Bond nerfed to uselesness).

EDIT I went and made a test in the Amnoon area where the enemies use Chiblain. Just one enchant removal can be bad as you try to mantain enchants over your allies. Worse if the enemy interrupts your blessed signet (as its going to happen in pvp) you are in a bad state of affairs. Even with Essence Bond+Blessed Signet it wasnt just cutting it enough. The cast of two seconds and 10 energy makes most enchantments useless except for precast wheereas once removed their toll on energy by upkeep plus what is need to exert the skill drains energy pool very quickly. Yes you can fill it quickly with Blessed Signet. But Blessed Signet two second cast makes it a) easy to interrupt and b) you might miss the upkeep and lose an enchantment because of Blessed Signets slow casting time.

How do enchant monks fair at all anyway? Or do they just take one enchant and cast it one person only? Whats the use of casting them then anyway? This is one skill line that seems so innefective. Id rather have all "upkeep" enchants be normal time span enchants or be rectified in some manner to make them more useful as in faster casting time and cheaper. Monks should also have an ability to make enchant removal fail but not one that can be constantly used something like:

Blessed Enchanments Cast 1 second Recharge 45 Seconds Cost 15 Energy Duration 5-15

During 5-15 seconds all enchant removals targeting your monk enchantments fail.

Or something like that to at least protect enchanments or something.

Enchantments are very powerful - but everything that is powerful has to have drawbacks.

Normally you apply all enchantment before the fight starts. If you loose a few during the fight you can reapply them - if you lose all, you have to decide:
*) take the time and reapply all enchantments and be useless for a long time
*) don't reapply enchantment and be only a medicore help

and rule number one:
don't keep more enchantment up than you can maintain

Tad bit hard to do in pvp. In pve its a bit more easier to apply your suggestion but in pvp where things go fast and quick:
*) take the time and reapply all enchantments and be useless for a long time
Amounts as being dead.
*) don't reapply enchantment and be only a medicore help
Amounts as being dead and your teamates.

That is the problem. As long as the enchantments are up, you do a superior job, if they go down, you are mostly useless.

You have to decide what to do...

Thing is they go down mighty quickly compared to how fast you can set them up again.
